I love my home, and hopefully you love yours, too (If you don’t, come find me, and we’ll fix that). While every home has its own unique touches to make it yours, there are a few details in mine that I believe bring together the calm chaos of life. Here are five details about my own home that might give you a little inspiration for your next home build or remodel.
Front Porch Sanctuary
This is one of my favorite spots to cozy up in on a cool fall morning. I decorated this cute outdoor space by bringing in warm comfy tones that make you want to curl up and read a book. I’ve also found that it’s perfect for enjoying a cool summer night with my husband or for entertaining. A beautiful screened porch a great add when designing your own home.
Bedroom Hook Hack
A simple idea can go a long way! These hooks help add some space and organization to my smaller guest bedroom. My guests hang anything from towels to hats, to clothes on these. They give a small room a little more space and add a flare of decoration when used.
These stainless steel risers on the staircase is probably one of the most unique parts of my home! It gives it a pop of interest while still keeping with my casual contemporary theme throughout the house. I love how they reflect light, giving off a beautiful glow throughout the house. It’s a fabulous way to step up your staircase!
Flower Pot Power
Who said flower pots had to be boring? This concrete planter is so fun and chic! Perfect for summer plants, and holds up great when it rains. This flower planter is so easy to take care of. Plus, it’s a great way to welcome guests with fun decor and color by my kitchen entrance! Concrete is really hot on the market. These woven baskets are perfect for adding more storage to any room. They hide comfortably under the bed when needed or can be used as a decorative touch in the bedroom. Baskets are a great way to add warmth to any room, but it is perfect in this bedroom. I love putting my extra blankets and pillows in them for easy access when needed.
